Just 3.5 miles away, Bala offers cafes, pubs, shops, a swimming pool and Wales's largest natural lake. Enjoy paddleboarding, boating, a stroll around the lake or a ride on the steam railway. Being in the southernly tip of Snowdonia National Park you can enjoy an abundance of footpaths and cycle routes, superb fishing, varied activities and events in and around this stunning scenery. For the more adventurous, there's the National White Water Centre, Zip World Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, King Arthur's Labyrinth and the mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin, all within 30 miles.

I chose the cottage to suit my disabled husbands needs and it was perfect. Easy access via a solid ramp with handrail, lovely wide doorways to get a wheelchair through and a roomy wetroom with grab-rails. We were also offered the use of a raised loo seat and a shower stool. However,it is equally suitable for those more able, with lovely walks and vRead more iews all round in a peaceful setting Hide

Beautiful countryside, easy access to Bala. Very helpful owners comfortable and clean accommodation.
